The
Crescents of Brisbane Make the Most of YOUR Vote Workshop
17 November
2007
The Crescents of Brisbane Make the
Most of YOUR Vote Workshop attracted a
disappointingly small crowd to the Kuraby Special School
Hall.
As the key speaker in a very
professionally organized workshop Dr. Paul Williams
gave a detailed yet simplified explanation of the
electoral process and fielded a number of interesting
questions from the audience.
There was lively discussion on a number
of aspects of the voting system including such issues as
the donkey vote and the differences between a spoilt and
informal vote.
Mrs. Parveen Surtie won the prize
for completing the workshop quiz.
